Create a cultural focus for your school
Take the classroom outside, create a New Zealand Pacifika look and feel. A cultural centre point within your school. The Kuwaha below (top right photo) is a cultural focal point we built for Leabank Primary, they also installed a fale as an Pacifica outdoor classroom. Looking to make the most of your outdoor areas – talk to Brustics.
“Thank you to the team at Brustics for installing 3 fantastic fales. We have had a great response from our parent community, visitors, ERO and other schools. The Fales are loved by our Pasfika community, who use them both before and after school. The entrance Fale helps bring families into our grounds and provides a meeting place for our community. The two Fales by the field provide great sun shelter and a meeting place for students.”

Our Fales & Tropical Pavilions
If you are looking to create a cultural focal point in your school then there is no substitute for thatch. These outdoor classrooms/pavilions can be created to your school's individual requirements. Built from natural hardwood (sourced from sustainable production) and traditional thatch the buildings are environmentally sound and provide a unique outdoor teaching area.
We can also provide fale options; An outdoor classroom - that can be the focal point for cultural learning, the temperature under the gazebo is typically 10 degrees lower than exterior temperatures.
A natural back drop, the panels can provide “instant landscaping”, immediately creating a sense of natural environment even in the busiest of central city locations. They can also be used to display recent artwork and examples of the children’s creative work.
Our eucalypt fence is very popular, creating natural boundaries, that are strong, quickly and easily installed, and provide containment yet can be seen through for supervision.
Our brush fencing is perfect as a visual and noise barrier between playgrounds and public roads or neighbours.
Our bamboo fencing is an easily installed windbreak and screen – especially popular for rolling out across existing wire diamond mesh fences.

"Thank you Brustics for bringing a touch of Pacifica Paradise to Holy Cross Catholic School. A beautiful fale, which has blended perfectly into our school, and created a wonderful learning space for our children and whanau"
Waterview Primary School
“I was able to see the Fale for the first time yesterday and it looks amazing! I have had nothing but excellent comments from staff and parents who were there. We are excited for all the Waterview whanau to see and use it once school is back. We have only had positive feedback for the Fale.”
