Fale & Tropical Thatched Structures for Schools
Our Fale-style shelters and tropical pavilions offer more than shade, they create meaningful spaces where learning, culture, and connection thrive. Designed to reflect your school’s values and community, these structures act as cultural focal points, outdoor classrooms, and inviting places for students to gather, reflect, and learn together.
Each structure is crafted from sustainably sourced hardwood and finished with either traditional or synthetic thatch roofing. These materials are not only chosen not only for their visual impact and cultural significance but also for their durability and natural cooling properties, often keeping temperatures under the roof up to 10°C cooler than surrounding areas. Compliant with ROSPA and school safety requirements, these structures are both practical and protective.
We offer kit-set or custom-built options to suit your space and needs. For example, one middle school transformed an unused corner of their grounds with a Dura-Palm thatched gazebo, turning it into a vibrant lunchtime shelter, a popular meeting point, and a fully functional outdoor classroom. With built-in seating and clever placement, it quickly became one of the most valued spaces at school.

Natural Fencing Solutions for Schools
